Ryan Lee

President

Ryan is the President & CEO of Three Point Capital Corp. and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance from the University of Calgary followed by completing the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute, the Mortgage Brokerage course from Sauder School of Business at UBC and the Exempt Market Products course from the IFSE Institute.

Ryan has over 20 years of experience in real estate, mortgage lending and private capital markets and was formerly the President of a national private capital investment firm in Toronto. Ryan is also a licensed mortgage broker in the Province of British Columbia and the Ultimate Designated Person (UDP) and Dealing Representative for Three Point Capital Wealth Management Inc., a company registered as an Exempt Market Dealer in BC and Alberta.

Ches Hagen

Ches Hagen is Director and Chief Executive Officer of AP Capital Mortgage Investment Corporation. Ches co-founded AP Capital in 2007 and leads the company in the quest to be Canada’s best non-bank alternative lender. In addition to being an executive of AP Capital, Ches co-founded Vendasta Technologies, one of Canada’s fastest-growing technology companies. Mr. Hagen has over 25 years of experience building companies and raising capital for private enterprises in Canada through various channels including conventional banks, venture capital firms, investment dealers, family offices, and exempt market dealers. Ches Hagen is excited to work with the BCMMA, working closely with his colleagues on the association's board of directors.

Dawn Paniz

Membership Chair

Dawn is a founding shareholder and Director of Fisgard Capital Corporation and President, CFO, and Director of Fisgard Asset Management Corporation.  With thirty years of experience in the mortgage and investment industry, she is also licensed as a Dealing Representative and Mortgage Broker.   Dawn is a past director of the National Exempt Market Association and served as a member of the BCSC, Corporate Finance Stakeholder Forum.  In addition to raising capital for Fisgard, Dawn oversees the financial operations of the organization including developing financial and tax strategies, overseeing budgets and audits, and corporate governance.

Brad Rembold

Meetings Chair

Brad is the CEO of All Island Equity MIC. He has been a licensed Mortgage Broker under the Mortgage Brokers Act

(British Columbia) since 2007, and a holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Vancouver Island University with a focus on management and finance. Brad has significant experience in all aspects of the mortgage industry including time spent with a national mortgage lender, a large credit union, and as an independent mortgage broker. He is currently serving as a board member for the BC MIC Managers Association. 

Melanie Zeegers

Treasurer

Melanie is the Controller of Terrapin Mortgage Investment Corp.  Melanie has over 25 years of experience in accounting and holds a CPA, CGA accounting designation.  Melanie is also a Dealing Representative for Waverley Corporate Financial Services, a company registered as an Exempt Market Dealer across Canada.
